FADE IN:

EXT. A ROOFTOP, FAR ABOVE GOTHAM CITY.

A searchlight projects an image of blue cheese onto the clouds. GORDON paces, anxiously. He turns around, surprised, to see BATMAN perched on the ledge of the building.

COMMISSIONER GORDON

Batman, you came!

BATMAN

Yes, I saw the blue cheese signal up in the sky. Whenever crime calls, I am there. What travesty must we prevent today?

COMMISSIONER GORDON

It seems Trader Joe's has discontinued their blue cheese dressing.

BATMAN

None but the worst traitor would destroy a dressing so beloved. What a shame Joe has done this under cover of darkness.

ROBIN

But Batman, if we don't know why they did it, what can be done?

BATMAN

Excellent question, young Robin! You must contact the company and let them know of the evil they are perpetuating! We must all contact the company.

GORDON turns, looking out across the city.

COMMISSIONER GORDON

For everyone's sake, right, Batman?

GORDON turns back around.

COMMISSIONER GORDON

Batman?

FADE TO BLACK
